Game Review: Metal Garden

A nomad wanders the far reaches of an overgrown megastructure, a world built for a forgotten purpose in which countless civilizations have lived entombed for ages.

But when the mech they use to traverse it's vast distances breaks, they remain stranded in it's hostile wilds beneath a concrete sky.

My Take:

If you’re drawn to the dark, atmospheric worlds of Blame! or any of Tsutomu Nihei’s creations, Metal Garden might be right up your alley. Its haunting, desolate landscapes are genuinely immersive, and I loved wandering through them. The game is short but satisfying, with a Halo-esque vibe, and dirt cheap to boot — highly recommended!
